I've been sittin on this jewel for a minute. Willie the Kid is the shit! Never before have I heard anyone who can be a gangster rapper, blend both hardcore lyrics with a mass amount of creativity, and artistry. And being in an era where most MC's dont know who Bambata is, this kid is on his p's and q's. Hailing from Grand Rapids, Michigan, he is a son of a Dj who credits KRS-1 and Rakim as his inspiration. He now lives in Atlanta and is down with Dj Drama's "Aphiliates" crew. Willie was in college in Atlanta when a friend of his,which is Dj Drama's brother, played his music for Drama. The rest is history. He is on all of Drama's mixtapes and continues to put his music out independently.
